Lucie Brock-Broido’s volumes of poetry include Trouble in Mind, Master Letters & Hunger.   She was formerly the Briggs-Copeland Professor and was also the director of the Harvard Creative Writing Program.  She has received many honors, including the Witter-Bynner prize of Poetry from the American Academy of Arts & Letters, the Harvard Phi Beta Kappa Teaching Award, the Harvard-Danforth Award for Distinction in Teaching, the Jerome J. Shestack Poetry Prize from American Poetry Review, two National Endowment for the Arts fellowships, & a Guggenheim fellowship.   She is currently Director of Poetry in the Writing Division at Columbia University.  Presented in conjunction with the Woodberry Poetry Room at Harvard.
