Harvard Night at the Hartford Symphony

January 11th

Performing Arts are important cultural elements of our community and we encourage our alumni/alumnae to enjoy  and support them.  We are happy to announce that our first event of 2014, in conjunction with the Harvard Business School Club of Connecticut, will be at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. HSO President and CEO Carrie Hammond (MBA '92) has organized a special evening for Harvard alumni/alumnae and guests for Saturday January 11, 2014.

The Hartford Symphony Orchestra and the Hartford Stage have joined together to present a new concert staging of Shakespeare’s "A Midsummer Night’s Dream", combining a theatrical performance of Shakespeare’s timeless story with Mendelssohn’s incidental music.  We will have a pre-performance dinner reception hosted by Carrie where she and some of the artistic team will share insights on this production then we will go into the Belding Theatre at the Bushnell for this special joint performance.

The dinner reception begins at 6:00pm and the performance starts at 8:00pm. The price for Harvard alumni/alumnae and guests is $85.00 per person (wine and beer is included for the dinner reception).  Alumni /alumnae are encouraged to invite friends and family.  Tickets for the performance will be distributed at the dinner reception. The Harvard Business School of Connecticut is handling ticket sales, and it is very easy to register and buy tickets on their site.  For more information visit the event page on their website by clicking here
